The relationship among matters such as empty spaces between them and the air and tension between fruits, fabric, and table interests me. I carefully observe the tension between person to person, to space, to objects and to nature. By studying the other person’s gesture, posture, expression, tone, and speed of voice, I learn how to communicate and interact with that person which is most definitely a fascinating journey.

As I learn to draw the objects in front of me, I investigate the objects not individually but as a group of things that holds intense energy between one another.
