The Essence of Warmth

Printmaking (Etching)

When we are struggling, we usually wish to go back in time and return to happier moments in the past. My happy moments have always been with my family or comfort objects as I can feel warmth from them.

As a young girl, I feared the darkness at night, especially when I had to wake up and go to the bathroom or when I could not fall asleep. But I was comforted by my parents' voices, the blanket, and a hot seaweed soup on any day.

As I grew older and time progressed, with experience I understood these fears are all in my mind, and I learned to embrace the darkness. I believe everyone can train their mind to overcome pain or frustration with the right support.
